No weigh in today! Massive earthquake, way worse than in September. Loads of people dead/trapped/crushed. Many more houses and buildings destroyed. Roads wrecked, liquifaction almost everywhere. Aftershocks ALL night - some less than 5 minutes apart. Ended up too cold so slept in the kitchen on a chair.

Just had another aftershock. House contents all over the floors, no major new damage outside that we can see. Bird in cage under dining room table for safety.

All of our family is okay, praise God!

Thankfully we have power, but no sewerage or running water. Sewerage system in the city is trashed. Water not much better. We "go" in a bag in a rubbish bin right now....

Food and water is being trucked in or seconded from businesses here. We thankfully have freezers full and some salad stuff outside in the garden which hasn't been affected we don't think from sewerage (yet anyway). We had to walk through sewerage yesterday when checking on family. Two of hubby's familes have lost their houses. My parents kitchen is wrecked.

Thank you all for your prayers and love, it means a lot to me and my husband. Please please keep praying hard for those trapped as well as us that have survived. It is incredibly traumatic and we have been crying off and on this morning.
