The best-laid plans ... Ended up getting a call at 9:02am that I needed to go and pick up both grandkids. My daughter was able to get a dentist appointment. So, I'll have them all day -- a Diet Coke day for sure! I AM staying on my eating plan, though - can't blow 14 days in. I picked up McDonalds for the kids and my husband, and I didn't get anything for myself. Small victories.

That's a huge victory imo! Easiest thing in the world to do is justify fast food on a day of unexpected events, especially when you're headed there anyway! Don't sell yourself short, that is amazing resolve right there. =)

MD's has salads, no?! I like their fish-fillet sandwich, their Vanilla Iced coffee, and their egg-white breakfast sandwich. Yummy!

McD’s has salads but you have to look closely at the calories. From the ones I’ve seen they are high calorie and low protein. If you don’t use dressing or take hike and use your own light dressing then you can cut calories off of them.
