Well, at 5am this morning, it was only 0. Big difference from yesterday which was in the 30's. NO frozen pipes this morning. YAHOO. I was ready for the worst, but nope. I should be getting a new client today. Anxious, but not all at the same time. I sure hope this one is better than the last. Although, with mentally challenged individuals, you can't ask for perfection. Just some are much better than others. Wish me lots of luck and success. Other than that going on, pretty quiet here. Getting ready to go back to the barn and finish up. Then I'm off to the dentist. Not my favorite thing to do, but it's better than waking to a tooth ache. Hope you all have a wonderful a prosperous day. Talk soon.:) I guess I should enter something about weight loss. Still the same, 162 and not budging. That's ok. At least it is not going up.:):)
UPDATE:
My daughter just found a channel on the tv that has a low carb segment. It's called Blaine's Low Carb Kitchen. It's on Fit tv. Today he has been cooking Mexican. Too hot for me, but it's low carb. I'm excited.

Congrates on the new client! Let's hope this will be a better one than the last! Sorry to hear about the tooth ache, I had to have one taken out once as I chipped it on hospital food! Lol I think it was a hash brown! Well because I hate dentists so much they had to put me to sleep to do it! Lol

Morning 'sis', thanks for posting so early. Glad its not too cold, I can't imagine having to go out to a barn and deal with animals when its as cold as it is today here in Toronto but they need us to look after them and I would have to do it. Hope you have your clothes on this morning - LOL. Glad you got a client. Not sure what you do with/for them but I know you need the money - who doesn't, none of us work because we love it, we all work to pay the man! Have a super day and hope all goes well. I do appreciate you journaling so early, its nice to talk to all my family each morning!

went to have their teeth cleaned and before going ate oreo cookies. Ewww.

Good morning Laurie. Congrats on the new client. Hope they are better than the last one you had. Oweeee...a toothache. I don't like dentists. I'm with Leanne, put me under if you touch me. If you don't have your clothes on I'm sure that the dentist will enjoy that:) Hope all goes well. It's zero degrees at home. Haven't checked the temp here in St. Louis. Not much warmer though. Really feel sorry for Sarah. I like the funny about the oreo Bren Lol. Congrats on staying the same and not gaining. Bundle up and stay warm.

Hey, hey, hey....stop knocking dentists!!! LOL! I happen to know a very, very nice, caring one who's very gentle, as well. I'm sure he would've laughed at the Oreo trick, although the person who saw that was probably the hygienist, not the dentist.

Leanne, I hope this client is better than the last too. Just got back home with client coloring at the kitchen table. That's good. Every time I have to get a tooth pulled, I request Nitrious Oxide(sp). I just LOVE that stuff. After a few whoofs of that, they can pull them all if they want.lol Hope you day went well and you stayed warm.:)

We will see how this client goes. It's usually really good for the first couple of weeks, then they start testing the waters, so to speak. Evie, thanks for dropping by. Yup, 0 degrees this am. A southern girl with heaters going. I can't imagine that either.lol Just had to pick on you. When I lived in Florida, I thought I was going to freeze 2 weeks right around Christmas. I was so cold. I think what made it so cold was the wind and air right off the Gulf of Mexico. So, I do know about needing heaters in the south. Hope you had a great day my friend and talk soon.:)

Dentists aren't all bad. Without them I'd have no teeth. It's just the hygentists that make me nervous. They have a new one every time I go in for a cleaning. Makes me wonder how cheap my dentist is, or if they just find other work. Laurie, I used to work with mentally ill and mentally retarded adults. Depending on their needs and severity it can be challenging. I admire you for opening your home without knowing what kind of person it will be that they bring you to take care of. Take care. Cindy, I know what you mean about hygienists. My mother used to refer to hers as "that butcher." LOL!! And, yes, I also believe there are very gentle hygienists as well.

Hope your client is tolerable. Sorry about the dentist..I am not a fan of the dentist, I swear I always suffer anxiety attacks even when its just a cleaning, oh well, a necessary evil. You said you work with mentally challenged clients, what do you do...? Work was very hectic today...but went by quickly. Hope all is well with you. Chat soon. :)
