Hi 🙋‍♀️ how is everyone doing?
I’ve been away for a whole month 😮 I’m still struggling with my depression. I’d love to be in self quarantine but I know I’m lucky to still have my job! It may be over in a month. I still don’t know if I will have a job next month. Finding a new job is going to be tricky now with the virus; everything is closed down here in Miami. Well not everything. Any store that sells food or cleaning supplies is still open but are only allowed to have a very small number of people in the building at one time. Our store is allowed 10.
I’m working a lot but I’m trying to stay safe. My kids are all doing virtual learning which is a challenge.
I’ve been eating non stop and really not exercising at all. I forced myself to get on the scale this morning. I’ve gained 17.5 pounds. I’m just glad it’s not 25 like I thought. I’ve started counting calories this morning. It’s the last thing I want to do but if I don’t gain control of this mindless eating I’m going to be 200 pounds again 😩
176.6 lb Lost so far: 32.4 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is good news that you are writing about your experiences. I thought I was alone in my obsession with food and cooking. Now it sounds like many of us are in the similar places.

Welcome back. Lots of us are going through anxiety and stress and depression, you're not alone. Lots of us are mindlessly eating as well. We'll make it through. Stay safe and healthy.

Glad to see your post!.. I too have been away for awhile, however Ive always enjoyed your posts and energy. I can relate to you; the kids with online learning (ugh) still working as an “essential” (ugh) I don’t feel essential, I feel tired. I’m not in Miami, but close in palm beach county. Mindless eating is the worse because you make the kids a snack and there it is.. About a week ago I started back counting and being accountable. Keep your chin up, your doing amazing just by logging on. Its all an adjustment so go easy on yourself. One day at a time doll - we got this!!
