Did the doctor express any concern regarding the heart rate? I hope they rechecked it. A hr that low is not “normal” even for a younger, very fit person. Do you know how to take a manual hr? If so track it. If not, find a YouTube video.

All is well Kenna! Checked by my primary dr few years back one morning he said “your hr has been slow but I’m gonna send you for some tests”. Ok Doc! Ok so stress tests with an WO dye / ultra sound to look at valve functioning / and some kind of rhythm tests. Cardiologist walks in to my follow up.... “Well I got good news and I got good news. Good rhythm, good valve function, and I see no blockages. Come see me in 10 years. The kind of news you like to hear! Most often I’m around 52 but 30+ miles on the bike Sunday worked me pretty hard. Most of that 2.5 hrs or so was around 80% max HR. My 64th bday was Feb 16th. Life is good and to God Be The Glory!

Terrific 60pack. Not everyone knows that a really slow heart rate is not always a sign of athleticism
