That is a good deal! My local grocery store is offering avocados for $1 each if you buy at least 4. No way can I use up 4 avocados before they go bad.

I buy the 15.8 oz. jumbo ones 5 at a time, put in the fridge. So versatile, love them. 

you can freeze avocados. halve them, brush with lemon juice and olive oil and put them in a bag where all of the exposed flesh is covered (no air). they will keep for a couple of months.
