Egg shells? This is interesting. I'll have to look this one up. I have used them in the garden in the soil, I know they have nutrition but never thought to digest them. keep us updated.

eat_little Egg shells are often said to be good bioavailable calcium. I felt uncomfortable with this idea, but found a way to make it work. Collect shells in salty water, then wash well and sterilize thenm in the oven. Then make it into a superfine powder in a high speed mixer. Since taking it, I feel an improved calm. The most noticeable change is sleep quality. Never before have I had 2 hours of deep sleep two nights in a row. Still need time to see if is a random thing, or if it can be linked to introducing this new nutrient.

Oh wow, sounds like an ancient Chinese medicine. That's also interesting about the sleep. I just read today about how much trace minerals we actually lack in our western diets and because of the mineral depleted soil. Intriguing.

eat_little I've heard doctors say that lack of minerals and proteins drive hunger. Setting focus on mineral and nutrient rich proteins bring balance. Those who try to satisfy this hunger with a 'cookie' will easily get into weight problems.
