Happy New Week, My Fat Secret Warriors!

I am home from my business trip - I did pretty well most days but had a couple fast food visits which reminded me why I do not normally do that!

I was working 12 hour days and twice tried to go to better restaurants only to circle the block searching for parking. Being hungry and tired, and wanting to get back to my bed, left me fewer options. One day I was within calories, but yesterday was a blow out! I did not have a kitchen so could not really get groceries and cook either...

Happy to be home and able to get more on track.

Do you think people who eat fast food daily feel the same when they get a home cooked meal? Like.. does it shock their system & cause nausea?

@FullaBella - I didn't get sick but there is so little nutrition I felt tired and hungry again quickly. I go to San Diego at the start of October and have some better options at the venue where I will teach. And, Orange Theory!

Ah, okay. Well, fantastic that you can recognize that. I just feel kind of queasy. Not sure if it's mental or truly physical.

Glad you are home safe! There's a couple or three fast food places I try to find when in a have-to situation, but they are less common and can't always be found. But I don't mind burgers from local, non-chain diners.

The fact you stayed within calories even one day is commendable! It’s so hard when traveling! Don’t forget the 12 hour days probably mean you burned more calories too.
