Had my physical for my insurance through work today. Because I am pregnant they didn’t weigh me today or take my waist measurement. This made me so happy LOL! I remember my weight last year was 162, and my waist measured at 33 inches. If I have put on 40 pounds and an unknown amount of inches, it’s definitely going to require a concerted effort to lose this postpartum. Does anyone have any advice as to how long I should be looking at spacing out a goal like that? That being said, I have had over 100 pounds to lose both of my other pregnancies so this is nothing. I am tired today, I am hormonal I guess I will say, although I guess that’s just another self-deprecating way to say people are being thoughtless and it’s bothering me. I have not over eaten today, and I have visited with friends. I have tried to be kind to myself. I will be off to bed very early, trying to power through the rest of this week without having a meltdown. Almost through with the couple of weeks away from my boyfriend while he is at drill.

Gsn yeah, I’m helping my friend out and she’s taking advantage for sure. I had to get pretty straight forward with her about boundaries. Simply put, she has been borrowing my car for work, and running her kids around, and moving her stuff, and hanging out with her friends, and last night she didn’t come home. And when I was up for several hours tracking her down, and waking her up, and telling her I needed her to return my car, I got behind on sleep and spent my day incredibly angry and I made some assumptions about Steve and maybe was a little bit irrational. And my friend has been CHAIN SMOKING in my vehicle 🚭🚭🚭 ughhh is my biggest pet peeve. I am okay with Steven, it’s more of an old insecurity of his womanizing coming back to haunt me, but I’m sure it’s more to do with heightened stress with pregnancy and lack of sleep. He still has been wonderful, even going so far as to send me a video from base wishing me well and sending his love. So that’s that drama. I definitely think 4 pounds a month sounds too slow LOL it would take me 10 months to get the baby weigh off at that rate, but that actually sounds incredibly healthy. 4 pounds a week, that doesn’t sound healthy right? I’m really looking forward Getting Steve home and getting back to my routine. I feel so frazzled, like everything is just so messed up now. We have such a nice routine. I feel like the world just got shaken up.

Kay— my best advice is to just start. I wouldn’t recommend going balls to the wall. You won’t be released by the doctor to do that anyway. You will need energy to continue to deal with family issues plus a new kid with an agenda and a time schedule of her own. Just let your self begin and increase intensity slow but sure over a couple of months. You don't need any complications after making it this far.

Hey, I'd say, take your time. 9 months to gain, 9 months to lose. Personally it took me almost 2 years to get rid of 30lbs (I gained 44!), I breastfed my baby too (14 months in total) so I just ate a lot without counting anything. Food was also my guilty pleasure as I was fighting with depression. So take it easy, girl!
