Egull1's Journal, 17 December 2018

I haven't done one of these in a while :-)

The first pic was taken Thanksgiving of last year. I was 179 lbs. there and 31 lbs down, wearing size 14/16's
The second pic was taken last week at 71 lbs down in size 8's.

I love this body! And, I'm not going to lie - I love getting acquainted with these hip bones, collar bones, and rib cage! It's like getting to know parts I always knew were there, but never had the opportunity to chat with. LOL

Thank you, everyone - it's been quite a journey. And, it's not over yet. Learning maintenance is an art and skill in itself. And, I'm compelled to continue expanding this body's strength through body recomp and resistance training. Carol, it is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. Apart from carrying less weight, it liberating to is realize anything is possible if we're willing to let go of all the stories we tell around our limitations, and potential. And, Keilin - 3 cheers to hugging our bones, lol. Bones don't get enough love :-) And, thank you Steven. I think you asked in my last post how I've been moving around these days? I'm still working out 4-5 X's/week and alternating between cardio/weights, resistance training, and yoga. Some days are challenging due to the MS and some days I'm humbled by how much this body is willing to give. Thank you for all your support, and asking {{hugs}}. Horseshu - I am genuinely thankful we are both here to mutually inspire each other {{big big hugs}}
