There is a bite of cake in the kitchen. At least it's a bite in my world. It may be two bites in someone elses world. Yesterday someone filled the kitchen with leftover party goodies like pizza, wings, cake and bagels. We have no clue what the connection is between a pizza party and bagels is but it's there. Today the cake plate remains with literally a bite of cake. No one is willing to take it and no one has thrown it out and now I'm just watching it to see what happens. I'm not tempted. I just want to see what happens to the lonely cake bite. Seriously though.. who takes the last piece and leaves a bite?? It's madness.

Now that you've been updated on my excitement I will bore you with my progress. I started limiting my calories 7 days ago. I had spin class yesterday and I had convinced myself I would get light headed or faint in the middle of class. I didn't. I survived. I also learned I'm kind of a pansy. I mean seriously.. It's not like I'm wasting away to nothing here. I have plenty of fuel reserves in my butt. So why was I so convinced I would pass out?? Maybe I read too many health books. One thing I have noticed is I'm not eating that many carbs and usually when I do that I have a huge energy spike. This time I don't. It could be the nuts. Do nuts make people sleepy? OOOOOH It could be the fact that I only get 5-6 hours of sleep a night. But that's rational.. and boring. And logical. Pfft.

Also today I sat and I'm not sure I can get up. My thighs are punishing me for subjecting them to another spin class. Next workout I should do upper body.. I feel like my arms trust me too much. Plus I know I have muscles under that fluff so working the fluff off should help me find them. Maybe.. I'm half tempted to mention to the spin master that I want more workouts to see what he does. Then I remember what he did to my legs and I keep my mouth shut.
