Dinner out, celebrating our eldest's birthday today - wine tour in the county - had a few sips but no glasses of wine, then we went for a scrumptious dinner. I overdid it on the veggies (but did not nearly finish what was on my plate)... My net carbs are high today, but yolo and it's the first time i've splurged since June 1st. Logging was hard because of course I couldn't measure or weigh anything but I logged large portions - the scale will tell tomorrow. The restaurant was more than accommodating - I asked for GF Caesar, and the waitress pointed out that this course came with pasta, and she offered GF pasta. When I said no thank you, no pasta, she offered the veggies without hesitation. My DIL has an allergy to Lobster - they offered to sub out the sauce on her meal without being asked and then came back to check that the other ingredients were all safe for her. Cudo's to a great server! Wonderful day touring wineries and taking maternity photo's of my son and his fiance. I was the DD, she was the pregnant one, so only the men drank today. I'm having a glass of wine now before bed - it's over the top but I'm enjoying it. YOLO! Hope everyone had a great day and got to spend time with someone wonderful.
