Baked squash in oven on flat sheet, lightly dusted with Paprika and Garlic powder. Turned out golden brown similar to your fish in your pic. Tilapia had lemon wedge, again lightly dusted with paprika and herb provincial for taste. Couple pieces of shrimp scampi. May not be for everyone, but it works. Provides just enough taste to quench the taste buds. digital food scale --->Tilapia (147g), Shrimp (60g), squash less than 1/4 cup sliced somewhat thin (31g).....unsweetened tea to drink it down.

oops forgot the long grain rice.... Could have done without, but I didn't eat a whole lot today...so I made up a bit... approximately 1/4 cup of rice (failed to measure though)...probably more than I should have but my body needed it... I tend to stick to quarter cups whenever possible for everything as I continue to train my body to eat differently than it has in years. So I try to get as close to my intake as possible, but may go over slightly from time to time (not often though). It kinda tricks my body to know it isn't in a starvation mode to hold and retain food. I then resume as rapidly as I can back to lower than my average intake. Thus far as I chart my progress for the past 4 months now (since March), I average between 1700 to 1900 calories presently. If I eat above 1900 to 2100 I feel bloated, tired, and sickly. So I am continuously adjusting to learn exactly where I need to be to feel at my best. So far it equates to around 1800 (optimal)---this would be my best maintenance level at the present time. For me to continue my path to losing, I have determined with testing phase 1700 or lower. It will melt off of me at this point. Thus far I've lost around 3 inches from the waistline to date since beginning. :D

@crystalcoker, if you ever want to examine or try new ideas, you can review my journal for pictures of items I've cooked. There are some variations of fish, but many other ideas as well. After many years, I'm learning to cook differently, better healthy portions, and all around healthier items. Somethings work, others not so much, as I am anything other than a chef.
