Lift Day Weigh-In
55 Days on Spring Cut; 15 Days on Final Sprint
16 Hours Fasted

Pre-refeed low 182.0#
Post-refeed hi 194.8# (Sun Night)
Monday a.m. 192.6# (daily weigh in)

Food consumed - 3 pounds over 26 hours. ~700g of net carbs, which should be a full glycogen reload, accounting for 6+ pounds of the water weight gain. Daily salt consumption up from ~1.5g (fasting) to ~7g {feeding) also obviously a factor. Aspiring abs totally washed out by the time I stopped eating last night. Uppers peeking this morning. Waist measured an even 32 this a.m., up about a half IIRC, but a good number for me and pleasant surprise given the weight jump.

Given the massive water weight spike and how shit I was feeling prior to refeeding, it looks like I was dehydrated. That said, I was taking in a couple litres of Swamp Ass per day + other liquids for a total daily intake of ~3 litres and ~1.3g each Sodium and Potassium. Also, was asymptomatic pre-refeed. No twitching, cramping or palpitations.

Open to any input on this. Looks to me like it's a no brainer to increase my daily electrolytes (double??), which means upgrading from Swamp Ass, as I cannot imagine choking that sh^t down with double the electrolytes.

Today's Lesson (again) - When still fat, every morsel I consume is a choice to remain fat.

Now we get to see how many days my cut is now extended. Two days and counting, so far...

Squats/Bench today (fed!) + LISS/Abs. LISS/abs tomorrow.

Thanks for posting your numbers. This is my experience (both the amount of carbs consumed and the weight gain with it). This weekend I FINALLY did things different and only had a 3 pound weight gain rather than the 8+ that I had over the previous weekend. I raised the fat I consumed and lowered the carbs. The calorie difference was only 500 calories so, and as Dr. Fung says, it's the "insulin" that makes me fat. (I just need to not try to run 7 miles after eating 500 calories of fat -- that make me sick AF and into the fetal position!). As to the water, I use Hi-Lyte liquid electrolyte concentrate, just once a day in water eliminated all my dehydration issues. Basically I drink water and most of it stays in my body :) Otherwise I drink a glass of Fiji water and it ALL comes out of me 45 minutes later :)
