Keep in mind that you have managed to hold on to your MAJOR weight loss (210-165) since September. Weight maintenance is hard and I see most people regain big losses (whether they lost fast or slow), within months. You will figure out how to lose the remaining weight, but, you HAVE figured out how to avoid gaining weight for over 4 months...

Ty adef, i appreciate the comment and the encouragement! I am trying to look at it that way, but you know, if i would just stay out of the nuts! Also, fwiw, i started at 230. 😆😩 but i know that compared to my "old life" i have developed some habits that have stuck. Really hoping when the weather lets up i will give it some more steam.

@jengetfit123 - Yeah I just wanted to 'remind you' of your success! It is so hard to lose perspective when I have tried to drop pounds over te past three months and realize I have not lost a single net pound (sigh). But then realize that holding on to any big weight loss takes a lot of work.

Jen, you are still doing good things for your health. At times it's not going to be about weight loss, but we are still learning something and moving forward, yes, at times slower than others, but not going back to where we started is the true victory. You're good sweetie.❤

Ty @becca! You are right!! I know slower is better, and i am really not doing anything i can't do for the rest of my life. Guess i should go back to enjoying the ride!

Ditto the above comments JF...and sometimes not gaining in a month is a big win!!

Besides not gaining, you are looking fitter in your photos, Jen; what you are doing is working successfully. I imagine more comfortable weather will make it easier, particularly with a four legged training partner. You are doing great pulling that body into shape, no matter what the scale happens to say!

I feel your pain but you are doing sooo good! You are getting stronger and developing great eating habits which are so important. Eventually your weight loss will pick up the pace again. Try not to feel discouraged

Hang with it...sometimes the body takes a while to catch up. Shale up your routine a little to get it moving?

Thank you, everyone! Your support and collective common sense mean more to me than you know. I am forcing myself to keep taking pix, so ty for saying you can see a difference (don't even care if you are just being nice, lol)... At this point i can't. i feel silly/fraudulent posting and logging but then i think that is just my devil side trying to undermine me by saying "hey jen, it has been a good run, you did fine, but you are not ready to play with the grown-ups, so might as well chuck it." But patience is Queen in this chess game.
