Anyone who knows me knows that a) fasting is not my thing and b) I’m a recovering food addict. In light of my recent binge purge relapse, I’m choosing to attempt a fast until I feel safe with food again. Not to be melodramatic, but this freight train has to come to a halt otherwise people are gonna get hurt. Wish me luck

You guys are awesome. Thanks everybody. Been tea with a splash of milk and I’m off to bed. Feeling better now. It’s sometimes a long way up to clamber back on that wagon

Good luck with the fasting. Just don't let yourself get too weak. Maybe short fasts to start with. ☕

I think I like a calorie cap off of 1000,0would be better, but no solids and no sugar

So far I ended the day at 900, with a few bites and a big NAP. Right now my body needs rest and I’ll have to keep listening to it.

@KayBuckaroo - Good job. My normal schedule, like today is 900 calories and no solid food. This weekend I was out-of-control-eating. So, this is a nice way to 'slow down'.

Agreed. Again, having a bad past with feast/famine it’s not so much that I’m looking to “fast” in the sense of restricting to zero, but rather slow down the roll of out of control eating. For me, binging begets more binging so this is my “emergency stop” 🛑 button.. I’ve been paying close attention to you, Adef.
