Try to capture EVERYTHING you eat, if you don't you will only cheat yourself, nobody here will judge you if you eat a whole chocolate cake and capture it on FS, it is so you can see where you go wrong and fix it, cut carbs to 0 and only do low fat - do not eat cheese or cream, fat is loaded with empty calories, if you want your body to burn the stored calories you need to deprive it of unnecessary calories. I love to eat, I eat very large meals that are between 300 and 500 calories each and I do not go hungry. On Sunday night I have a full 80g top deck slab, but i stayed under my BMR calories for the day and i lost 1.2kg last week.

To yodan4, I too am insulin resistant, I have found success eating 1200 calories, eating low carb (up to 42 g), macros at 60 fat, 30 protein, 10 carbs. I record my intake of food on fs. When I follow this my desire for food lessens. I have spent a lot of time tweaking the WoE. And this is what works now.

@Daedt is spot on regarding logging what you eat. Unless you begin to write everything down... you won't know how much you're eating, nor will you begin to know what type of caloric deficit you need to create. Tell your calories where to go so you don't wonder (later) where they went.
