Sliced avocados, an extra tbsp olive oil on salad. You don't want to gorge on fat. Just be mindful of the ratios. Lower the protein and when you do eat meat, say chicken, eat the skin. If your beef is grass fed eat the fat, if it's commercially raised trim the fat but add a tbsp of herb infused butter. Sugar free nut butters in moderation. I spread a tbsp on celery sticks. Have fun with this.

Nuts and seeds (raw seeds like pumpkin and sunflower are best! Add to salads.) Any nuts are good for the glycemic and insulin indexes, but don't gorge. 10 halves or so is a serving of walnuts. They ARE high in fat. Sour cream if you like it on meats. The nut butters are best if they are fresh ground. WinCo in my area in their bulk does almond, peanut and cashew. I add all to smoothies with ice.🙋🏻

Ghee in broth is a favorite. Lowering protein is one of my biggest challenges.
