Well Good Morning FS Warriors!
This weekend was a new experience for me!
Started to get dressed to goto Church Sunday morning and all my clothes fit like shit! Nothing was acceptable, even my shorts were too GINORMOUS!
I thought I cannot go out in public looking like this!!(actually, Angie said I was freaking out, yelling in the closet and throwing clothes out the door, I don't recall that exactly.....but....)

So off to the Thrift Store to do some sizing......
HOLY CRAPBALLS!!

I started this journey Christmas 2015...6'1, 350lbs, 48" waist, 6x shirts, sugar off the scale....
Today.....6'1, 260.9lbs,38" waist, 1-2X shirts, sugar around 110 daily.

I actually feel like I broke down in the fitting room, the tears started flowing and I felt like a bawling girl.....don't know why.....

I never thought that this issue with weight and BP and sugar levels were/are tied to "eating" patterns you've had your whole life!
How could you lose 10 inches in your waist just from eating right?
I haven't even "really" started working out yet. Just swimming couple days a week.
I don't even know when the last time I wore 38" waist....

Angie volunteers at several churches in the neighborhood and at one we visited this weekend, the Pastor walked up and said "Welcome, I am Pastor John........".
He didn't even recognize me, I teased him, "What do you think, Angie would bring her new boyfriend to the SAME Church?"

I am starting to tear up right now while typing....
It is sooo heart lifting to have this happen......
I love this life and now it loves me!
Have faith my brothers and sisters!
The Good Life awaits!!!

THX Steven, I NEVER would have believed 220 was a possibility, some dream you have and wake up to.......but now, I have such hope for the future. I can't wait until FEB 8th(D-Day, or the day of diagnosis) to show that damn BlueCross/BlueShield Diabetes Class that told me "you can't maintain...you will fail like all others. Diabetics never change and losses are coming. 2-5 years to live and only 3 of this class of 45 will survive". My answer "SUCK IT!" I Wish this WOE would/will work for all that need it (weight/diabetes/health/other) and that they have the strength to REALLY try. It seemed VERY hard 6 months ago, but now I feel NORMAL. HAH! It feels easy to adapt and survive. I am proud of me and my wife Angela, (we all know my story), she has joined me on this WOE and is dropping weight/getting healthier every day! After 24 years on 100mg/day of Levothyroxine, her DR cut it 71mg/day! Amazing!! She picked up some clothes also this past weekend.......size 7! And they are baggy!!! I predicted/told her she would a size 6 by summer, but I think it's coming early!!! This New Year will introduce a NEW Ron and Angela Travis to the World!

Great job, Ron, and I'm sure you feel great, too. It teeters on amazing what banishing the carbs from your life will do.
