Donuts are everywhere. They are always everywhere around this office. They are the bane of my existence here. I need hypnosis or something to convince myself I hate them.

Several months into this healthy lifestyle, my daughter and I were driving in the car. As we passed by our neighborhood bakery, she gave the most despondent sigh and quietly said, "I miss doughnuts."

I can relate. I am surrounded too. Every time I pass them by - I grow stronger & thinner! That is why I spell it "DO-Nots!"

I know how ya feel Notelaine! There are FOUR bags...yes 4 bags of Little Debbie Donuts scattered around the dining room table. It was everyone's breakfast on the way to church this morning- everyone except ME! The aroma is killer yummy, but I stuck with my bullet-proof coffee and never had even a crumb. So darn hard!!!

Not hypnosis, just self reassurance that donuts are seriously disgusting. Tell yourself that if you actually try a bite you'll just hate them (keep repeating this). I bet they'll taste like liver and onions or (insert the least appetizing food you can think of here). At least that is what I tell myself. Somehow I have convinced myself that I probably won't like it anyway, so why bother tasting it. :)
