Too bad about the pacemaker. Glad that you will get that checked into. Hope it is a less windy day today. I so want to visit Arizona.

Wait so you aren't out of town? With those symptoms and a pacemaker issue go to a Dr immediately. Unless you like playing games with your heart and death.... I mean c'mon!

WWebs, I am out of town. We will be home Sunday. I have had a pacemaker for over 10 years. I just had a new one put in last Nov. While getting dizzy is not necessarily normal, it's not unusual to have to adjust pacemaker. They make them so differently now, you can basically customize them to your needs and wants. I asked PA that called if I needed to come in right away and they agreed it was ok to wait 3 days until we get home. I'm comfortable with that.

Liv, Thanks..it's nice here. We like it because it's a close ( 90 min) get away for us. AZ is a beautiful state. ( as is Nevada)💜

Do you go to someone local in Las Vegas or have to go So. California? Sorry you are having issues with the pacemaker.

Diana thats scary. Did that happen with the old pacemaker also? And you have to go back to Orange County to have it repaired? How is the medical community in Las Vegas? Im worried for you. Be so careful. I can attest that if you actually pass out you may get hurt.

Fritzy and YOH, I got the call from my cardiac specialist in Las Vegas. They are in charge of the monitoring. The Drs in San Diego will get the report as well. I am going to have the device check in Vegas and depending on what they recommend, will depend if I need to go to San Diego. The device check is actually done by technicians from the actual pace maker manufacturers, not the doctors. They are usually pretty knowledgeable. I just find the medical staff themselves in San Diego more professional. My cardiac specialist in Vegas is good though but in general the medical community in Las Vegas is sub par to what I had in Calif.

Do you have an emergency device that calls for help if you fall? If you don’t, please consider wearing one, especially if you’re working out alone at home sometimes.

Diana, sure hope this is an easy adjustment with no further complications. I can somewhat relate with the AFIB issues that I have. Please be well.

Katsolo, I don't have an emergency device but I usually don't work out at home unless I can't get to gym. The Dr asked me to take by BP everyday but it's been hit or miss since we are out of town. I have a cuff at home. When I have taken it it's been low but not crazy low. I tend to run on low side. Double digit isn't unusual for me.
