I definitely see less dramatic fluctuations since I've gotten into a routine running, doing the bodyweight exercises I can do at home, and have foods that I eat day to day. Might be too early to say, but I definitely feel like I can run a lot better and get more out of my workouts since dropping 15-20lbs.

That’s awesome! It was easier to run at 255, the. 235 and now.

You are doing well! I saw your comment on mine about being able to run circles around your 25 year old self but I forgot to comment. Hopefully Jess's desserts fall into that category of "fueling" and "tasting good".

Lifting alone has kept my cardio up. I think the full-body with little rest as I alternate body parts has helped keep my heart very healthy.

Great job man, it feels good to make "gains" of any kind.

Thanks everyone! Jess’s desserts definitely fall into the good side of my plan! I do enjoy chocolate a lot by itself, so I tend not to eat too much of her desserts. Flour based stuff is on my less interested list 😊

Great job! Keep it up! Stay focused on your goals. Try not to go over board on splurge day if you have any of those.

the only lifting I'd be doing in your house would be putting all the baked goodies into my mouth. the fact that you manage to keep things going with that temptation is amazing.

Thanks everyone! I do understand how weight loss works (and doesn’t!) 45 years of figuring it out (nearly 10 on FS) has taught me a lot.
The trick is to figure out how to make the deficit happen. How not to eat 10 tacos unless that’s all you eat all day or do a 3 hour workout. My belief is that for people like me (eat whatever you eat for ever and gain and lose weight with the wind) you must learn what’s in your food. Record every calorie. Figure out your favorite foods that also benefit your weight loss or muscle gain or maintenance. CICO sounds easy, but there are so many nuances and it isn’t easy, but it’s smart 🤔

Exactly. “Lungs carrying you” how I was feeling. I thought I wasn’t tolerating the Florida heat but winter came and I still could t be active comfortably

I'm with you on that! I too have different taste buds since starting my journey. I used to love pasta but I actually prefer to have zoodles or spaghetti squash with my sauce.
