Ah, I love that cozy, warm under-the-covers sleep. Glad you had a nice long rest, twin! Enjoy that workout today!

Do you see the sunrise when you walk in the morning? I have never taken a winter sunrise walk but the summer early morning walks are wonderful with the aromas, birds, critters, and -- of course -- the coffee all ready when we get home! Oh! That's right. You are not a coffee drinker. I mean a protein shake to get us started in the morning! Have a great weekend!

with the sun comin up later right now no i usually dont see the sun come up, but when the time changes yes the sunrises are a wonderful morning experience to look at when im walkin...and the morning air before everyone is up an movin is also a great experience to have when doing a morning walk...no the smell of coffee is ok an even smells great in the morning..but i cant stand the taste of it...so yes its a protein shake for me...

Thanks for the reassurance that some exercise is better than none. I feel so lazy because I didn't really exercise yesterday. I was active but I didn't do an actual "workout". I envy you on the 11 hours of sleep! I would love that. I think I barely got 7 if that and I was feeling it when I woke up. Sucks! You'll get back into the routine soon enough. Hope the sun comes out and dries up all the snow.

hahaha...on the sun dryin up the snow...an when it does instead of snow, will be mud..one extreme to another..with it bein winter time right now, its hard for me to stay on a regular exercise routine to..and we all have lazy days..i kno i do...just gotta get back into a routine as soon as that lazy day is over...keep that body guessing...dont let that body get bck into a routine of not gettin any exercise..cause thats how most of us got to the shape we was in before fs...you can do this fakeplastic slow an steady gets you to that mini goal...

I'm having a tough time getting into exercise on a routine basis during this tough winter season we're having. Can't wait till Spring!

Thanks for the menu tip. I will have to try that. Sometimes I plan what I'm going to eat for dinner ahead of time and once I get home either it's only going to be me eating so it's too much work to cook for just myself or whatever, but something comes up and changes it. I hate that. I'll just have to reach for something healthier when that happens.

i try an cook ahead and then freeze that meal like a day or 2 ahead...so all i have to do is take it outta the freezer an nuke it...if its salad i sometimes make it up like 2 or 3 hours ahead so that all i have to do is take off the saran wrap put salad dressin over it an eat away..saves time an i am more able to stick to what i put in my menu...

i agree mbhpro...this time of year is hard to get a workout in..i just came back from walkin inside...only did 20 minutes..but better then zero minutes is way i look at it..an i kno that once spring/summer gets here ...there will be less time spent at the computer and more time out an about...enjoyin the warmer weather and things to do outside...

11 hours sounds heavenly! Can't remember the last time I did that. I went to bed cold the other night and it just got colder. Realized the next day that the upstairs heater was turned off and it was 30 out. chilly!
