as all of my buddys know, im an over the hill, old as dirt...still a kid inside...senior male...lol...but its only a number...just like the scales its only a number...its how you feel about yourself and how your clothes fit on you that counts...its finding your focus and mind set and believing in yourself...its never ever giving up on yourself and what you can accomplish once you decide you can do it...sure there will be some meals thats not as healthy as they should be...but you always have the next meal to get back on track an eat healthier again...your making a life change if your on this site ...an it takes time to change old habits into better healthier habits...there are no magic pills or short cuts...changing your eating habits and getting exercise is a learning experience that once you figure out what it takes to work for you, it does get easier to stay on track and focused at achieving what you are shooting for in the end of the tunnel ...you can do this...believe in your self...an forgive your self when you mess up...you are creating a new healthy eating habit and a healthy exercise plan to stay active ....


my final goal is around 180-200 pounds

when i started walkin i was 375...an i found that exercising by myslf i could go at my own pace...i tried to walk with someone else...if they have shorter legs then you, they cant keep up..if they have longer legs...you cant keep up...i found walkin alone and at my own pace just seems to work for me...you just have to decide what works best for you an go with it...doesnt matter what they think...its your body that your tryin your best to change into a healthy one...

Is it better to exercise in the morning or evening?
i work out in the morning...right after breakfast when my energy level is at its highest..like most say...its hard getting outta bed, but when isnt it...lol...once i get outta bed...then im already in the right frame of mind...i eat breakfast and get ready and head out the door for a morning walk or a stationary bike ride...when it was nicer, then i was riding a bike around town...and getting my morning exericse on 2 wheels ...you just have to decide when its right for you and get in a routine that works best for you...

regardless of what plan you decide to use...it all comes down to staying focused, forgiving yourslf when you mess up and exercising on a regular basis...

free workout music
ive been changing my music..as i do get use to the same music just like my body gets use to the same workouts...i use itunes and go to podcasts, then look for fitmusic...its all upbeat music to get you more motivated and movin....and its free downloads...
