Day 1 of a planned 5 days of mostly ‘no solid food’ fasting
I actually made it to the 🏋🏾♂ gym yesterday and 🏃🏾♂ ran. I did a 5 mile run after my weight lifting workout at the gym. After mile 4 my body-gave-out and I had to walk most of the way on the last mile 😆 I spent the rest of the day watching TV and eating carbs.
The only thing that motivated me to do this was that I wanted to eat-whatever-I-wanted on Sunday (read: ‘carb up’) and massive exercise is the only way I can eat ‘refined sugars’ (carbs from fruit would not be a problem), and not gain massive weight.
The goal this week is the usual 5 day 'no solid food fast' 👍🏾 Hoping for a 2 pound ‘net loss’ this week. A few weeks of this and I may actually hit the 160s on the scale.
The last time I did that was… let me look... October 2019! 🤦🏾♂

You can do it Adef👏🏼 well done one your 5mile run. I haven’t ran in 🤔 over 10years lol unfortunately where I live I can’t run outside. Not safe. Hoping to join a gym when my youngest is a little older.
