As far as the weight... what if we are patient and allowed ourselves to lose say 1 net pound a week? Would that really be so bad?

Exercise will wake you up in the am's , but it may delay your getting to sleep on time at night. It is an energizer.

Why apologize? Everyone struggles sometimes, I don't like that you've been having a rough time, but it reminds me that I'm not alone. This is a roller coaster ride and you have a right to share your ups and downs. Anyone who doesn't like it is welcome to do what I do when I see pictures of donuts, keep scrolling.

I wouldn’t add the extra workout every evening, being tired could set you up for injury. Maybe increase the daily workout by a bit or lift heavier. That sleep will be precious to you. Sleep well, it’s really when all the muscle magic happens anyhow, definitely get your sleep!!! And I’m so glad you are feeling better. BUT! Beware, you know how quickly depression can raise its ugly head!!👹

The suggestion that occurred to me: Take control! Set your mind on a successful path. Prepare an exercise schedule just as you prepare your meals for the week. Planning your meals eliminates the vulnerability to indecision and less-than-ideal choices. You *already know* that exercise after work doesn't fit into your schedule. Plan your exercise for the best time *for you* and carry your gear according to plan.

Crashtestdawn - i have been there more than once not wanting my meal preps. I suggest looking online and getting inspiration for meals you're actually excited to eat! Then it's easy! But it sucks when you have to eat What's already made. I did throw them out once and made a new.meal mid week!!! Lol

Maybe a fun activity, rather than additional training? Just something to keep you on your feet and/or moving. Or just be patient and make sure you sleep enough; sleep impacts everything.

Check your thyroid. May be cause of loss of energy as well.

I super relate to the evenings having a hard time being motivated to be physical, what seems to help me is writing down each day I am gonna force myself to do something active and then making plans around that like its an appointment I can't miss - so far its gone pretty well. Not always though. and the snacking urges especially late at night I relate! oh man! those are tough. It seems like you are making wonderful progress though! I am yo-yo-ing like nobody's business so I need a new game plan. You inspire me! :)
