And so the experimenting begins. This week: only cereal/milk for breakfasts and dinners. Next week - to contrast - "eating clean" with whole foods to see if there's any noticeable difference in gym performance, mood, and energy.

Pretty short experiment. You might show something, but nothing I'd call 'proof' either way. Eat what ya want silly :)

I don’t know about gym performance but I feel like garbage (tired and cranky) when I eat garbage vs all “whole” foods and what not 🤷‍♀️

Don’t forget the fruit loops for your cereal meals 😉. You did tell that gym goer that you’d make your carb cologne smell like fruit loops 😁. I already know how I’d do on your experiment... Whole Foods leave me hungry shortly after eating. Me being hungry leads to me being angry. That leads to me snapping at people. My oldest can eat Whole Foods and doesn’t get cranky but she eats a TON of it as she doesn’t ever really feel full on it. Good luck!

If there is that would be crazy. I moved 275k today on donuts and pizza. On clean food, I'd be doing 400k, lol. I haven't noticed any difference and I had 10 years of clean eating behind me. If anything the sugary carbs are superior. :P

Ok if rice, chicken, dessert, eggs etc are ‘clean’ then I eat pretty clean on days I don’t have a snickers lol. Love broccoli!

Yes maybe that's why I succeed I have a lot of fat and carbs together. Full of energy for my two hour workouts.

Lol. Pizza Hut has a delivery car outside the gym today! Never saw him come in. Good thing too because I was tired, irritable and probably would’ve grabbed that pizza lol. Hubby mentioned it to the trainer and a few on the treadmills turned it look out the window haha. Our Ymca is one level for all weights and cardio. Downstairs is basketball courts, rock climbing, game room and playground area. Oh and they have a party room, offices, group workout rooms and special needs bathrooms down there too. Oh and can’t forget the pool and hot tub! Can’t wait until school is out and I can do water aerobics and lounge in the hot tub lol. We can have dinner at 9 then instead of rushing home to eat at 8.

When I discovered flexible dieting I always wanted to walk into the gym while finishing my Blizzard. Never did it though. :P

I walked in with a smoothie. Is that close enough to a blizzard? Lol. I’ve also sat in the parking lot and eaten a breakfast burrito before going in or a protein bar (or snickers) when I’ve come out and had time on my hands before going to the next thing.

Couldn't you bring in a milk shake or something? Make it look like a smoothy except it's full of good carbs and fats? Yes, I said good carbs cuz they taste good. That is the definition of a good carb. :)
