Nice, yep, cardio is unnecessary.

If anything, you would have lost muscle with cardio.

Great JOB....I keep having this conversation with people and I love lifting, but am in calorie deficit to lose 30 more pounds. I don't feel cardio is necessary and my muscles are coming along nicely. But so many people tell me I MUST do cardio in addition to lifting..I just don't think so other than my typical warmup. What say you?

Cardio is good for your heart. But the way some of you all lift, I think you are getting two for the price of one, cardio and weights together. I know with my MyZone monitor, my heart rate goes into the "cardio" zone while I am lifting weights.

Yep, I push myself and work my heart plenty with weights alone. Cardio isn't needed. If you want to do it, keep it brief. 20 min or so after lifting is fine.

Your heart is the most important muscle you have. You won’t lose any muscle by doing cardio after lifting and top trainers do recommend cardio follow lifting.

Going by his diet calendar I'd say no. It may be possible but I just can't see someone losing fat while gaining muscle on keto. Need those carbs to keep catabolism at bay and for the optimal energy for lifting.

How much muscle gain do you get when you lose 15 pounds in 30 days?

Good point, it probably just appears that he gained some because of the fat loss. My guess is he went off track before he commenced the diet so a lot of what he lost was water.

@diablo360x
i do lift for about a year and then suddenly because of some problem i left the gym and just start to binge eating and gain 9kg in 1-2 month and lose so much muscle , but because of muscle memory and return to my deficit diet i gain my lost muscle and lose fat at same time
