Lotus's Journal, 22 April 2008

you know, it's just not as exciting to see the scale go down the second time around. I can't help but think how much more progress I could have made by now if I had been more vigilant. i am OF COURSE happy that it's heading back down, but backtracking sucks. Bigtime.
I want so much for it continue down even in spite of monthly water weight! i just need to stay on my water and eat lots of veg and fruit I think, less prepackaged stuff. It's hard sometimes.

Vermin Death Count: 11 so far!
Dang. Two so far today!
I think I am gettimg a little thick-skinned about emptying the mouse traps already!
Now, instead of thinking "Oh no.." when I hear that snap, I think more along the lines of "SCORE!!" :D It is still gross though. I try not to look at them TOO closely.
I am not sadistic, I just am tired of cleaning mouse pellets!
It's SOOO humid today, it's making me feel lazy.
I've already got one workout session under my belt thank goodness, 30 minutes pilates, 20 minutes Abs.
I am going to do some kickboxing when Kaelyn goes down for her nap, whether I feel like it or not.
I slept in today so no excuses!

I hope everyone is having a good Earth Day..lol.
I am abstaining from hairpray in celebration of this momentous holiday.

Oh Yes Ozone Layer. You are welcome.
