Wow! Just made a killer Keto dinner. https://www.eatwell101.com/zucchini-noodles-in-garlic-tomato-cream-sauce-recipe I saw this recipe the other day and within minutes bought a Zucchini Julienne peeler, online. I patiently waited for it to arrive and then pounced. Dinner made and eaten and husband floored at how delicious all these whole ingredients are with the Zucchini replacing the pasta, which you all know is just highly refined flour (poison). Zucchini, Crushed Tomatoes, Onion, Garlic, Broth, Salt and Pepper, Cream, Parm.... YUM!!!

All good as long as you have the magic peeler... hehe. I still can't believe how reliant I was on "THE CARB". The idea of making something like this without the pasta, in the past, was impossible. I am pretty pleased with myself. :)

That looks so good that tomorrow it will be my mission to recreate something similar! You are so right about the pasta thing. On Christmas Eve, I made a layered spaghetti casserole with spaghetti squash instead of pasta and it was every bit as delicious as traditional pasta. It’s wonderful to feel great and still be able to really enjoy great meals! You are going to look great in that dress!

Soup looks great! I didn't know pasta was poison though. Also, love a site where soup is above the Turkey Hill ice cream picture directly below on my feed.

Terrapin12, I am being a bit dramatic about the poison, but the truth is, there is 0 Nutritional value in today's pasta. The wheat is pulverized in machines that make it immediately absorbable (bad for increasing insulin Fast) - olden day machines were like mortar and pestle and flour would take much longer to absorb (better). Most of the nutrition is in the germ, but if companies remove 95% of the germ and only 20% of the entire wheat they are allowed to call it "Whole Wheat" = Bullshit. There is simply no benefit to eating pasta, and if it can be replaced with a whole, nutrient dense, considerably less insulin stimulating alternative, then we as people who have sabotaged our bodies for Years, must make the change. Start looking at pasta as Poison and it will be an easier choice to put the toast DOWN! :)

Word! After giving up carbs, and then re-eating them; I didn’t really miss pasta, rice or bread and barely ate them.
