This weight gain is totally expected.
Yesterday, because it was a 'weight lifting day', I purposefully ate more calories than I knew I would burn, and I consumed 10x the carbs I would normally consume.
I did this because I am 'bulking up' during my weight lifting. Trying to build muscle without gaining weight can be done, but it is a slow process. Gaining weight while lifting weights, and building muscle, has been an 'insanely fast' process for me so far.
However, today I will be drinking only protein shakes all day and keeping my carbs below 10 net carbs. Having more than one day in a row of excess carbs and calories gets me 'spinning out of control' on a 'carb binge'.
Let's see how it goes..
