OMAD (One Meal A Day)
Eating window 6:00pm-8:00pm

🥣 My 'experiment' of 'carbing up' for a weight lifting day by eating noodles (760 calories and 104 carbs) was a bust. It worked, I had so much energy I did my full hard workout then did a 'half workout' later that day. But, I use a LOT of soy sauce with my noodles and that likely caused the water retention that led to a 3 pound gain.

🏋🏾‍♂️ But, I did lift weights yesterday like my life depended on it 😊. I don't feel bad because I put-in-the-work. I was motivated because I knew I could not take in so many calories and carbs AND not justify the excess. I am either losing weight or 'bulking' to gain muscle (this requires working out hard lifting heavy weights). There is no 3rd option for me...

✈️ I go on a short vacation tomorrow morning. I am going with my sister who lost 50lbs on Keto so I have a travel partner who understands my weird eating habits (she is the person who will bring her own homemade salad dressing to a restaurant because she can't trust them not to have ingredients she can't track).

The key thing is that Wednesday is a weight lifting day for me and the hotel has a top notch gym. Tuesday and Thursday are my travel days and I will do OMAD on those days. Friday is a weight lifting day. I will be back home, and I plan to join a gym.

Makes me so happy to know I'm not the only one who brings my own salad dressing to restaurants. I mske mine with apple cider vinegar and Extra virgin olive oil. Totally addicted to it now.
