@Kevinlyfellow Ditto What Steven Anthony said. I love to hike, but the coast is a little too flat. The only incline I see is a slight slope to the tide's edge and the "dread" mill.

You did it Kevin! I was so excited to see this. Worth the trip, but It is a butt kicker isn’t it? I will recommend some other places for you. Definitely put El Moro Canyon in Laguna on your list. Now that it is toward summer you need to start really early because there isn’t much shade and no water source.

Yes, unless the end of that path drops off to a cliff..then no.

Kevinlyfellow — consider Saddle Peak trail up above Malibu and Zumma Beach. You can then end up at Saddle Peak Lodge for brunch. It is a turn of the century hunting lodge that was used by the Hollywood movie industry and elite. Now a fantastic restaurant. Not inexpensive but unusual food like bison, elk, wild boar and I even had rattlesnake once. Google it. They have lots of pictures. Your wt. loss journey is going to allow you to check out some of the great hiking places we have in SoCal. Keep up the good work.

Every step you take is a calorie burned (not exactly). Good pictures by the way.
