Happy Labor Day! No labor for me today!
This weekend was so busy. Took Friday off and helped daughter move - 10:40 pm she let me go home! I got a workout - the girl packed every box over 25 pounds and had OMG 40 boxes! She packed up her fridge, for example, and had 20 pounds of potatoes in one container. Anyway, two girls moved in two weeks, hoping that they don't move again but I am saving up in case they do so I can hire a mover for them.
Then I drove two hours to the beach - got to sleep at 3 am, after hanging out with my friends with the dogs. Saturday I sat on the beach with a bunch of new friends and had a wonderful time. Somehow I did not burn, even though I was sitting there frying without any sunscreen - yay, genetics!
I ate ok but I didn't stop myself from eating anything. The beach house group was like being with family, so relaxing in a group with kids, dogs, even a baby. I got to carry around a 16-pound baby for half an hour and that was a workout too!
Home Sunday, birthday party, and then dancing!
Today I am working on my house, sold off some lamps in that endeavor so that is good. Big yard sale for a charity group is going on next weekend so I am donating several salable items to that.
Diet control has gone by the wayside for the weekend but I didn't gorge myself, just ate the desserts along with the tasty bits of dinners.
School starts tomorrow around here - time to get back to school myself. Back to the plan that works: no bread, potatoes, pasta or rice. No juices, no alcohol. Low fat works for me - no butter, no mayonnaise. Let's do 1100 calories a day, ok, and fiber at 20-25 grams. 10k steps. I can't say I'll work out, but with my gym partner back later in the week, that is likely to happen. 4 dances this week so that should be a jump start.
