Wonderful low carb, low sugar dinner
Ingredients
Directions
- Brown the hamburger with the celery, onion and garlic; drain fat.
- Add tomato sauce, Splenda, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well and let simmer uncovered about 10 minutes or so to blend the flavors.
- Put meat mixture in the bottom of a well greased glass pie plate; mix in about 1/2 the cheese. Spread remaining cheese on top.
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl and whisk in the mayonnaise and cream.
- Pour custard mixture evenly over the cheese.
- Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 30-35 minutes until nicely browned.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

No I don't because of the low fat and fat free ingredients. Also the tomato sauce has to be sugar free during this phase

Good. But don't use the lowfat stuff. And substitute with sugar free tomato sauce. I'm not sure why this was listed, as is, for the induction phase. Or for Atkins at all - DON'T USE LOWFAT STUFF - it usually has MORE carbs!

To correct Paige a little more Low fat and No fat stuff normally has hydrogenated items AKA Trans Fats.
