Orange Scones

Like those available at Panera Bread.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix together sugar and zest of two naval oranges. Also add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add butter and mix it in so that the mix is crumbled.
  2. In a separate bowl mix egg and sour cream.
  3. Incorporate together two mixes. Make a dough.
  4. Put a dough on baking sheet with paper. Make it 7’’ round. Cut into 8 parts and put them in two lines on the baking sheet.
  5. Cook for 16-17 minutes 400F.
  6. For glaze mix together powdered sugar, orange juice, 1 tsp of orange extract and zest of one more naval orange.
