Frustrated Dieter!
I went in for a metabolism test with a breathing tube to determine the calories count, but my metabolism is so slow. I was exercising 4-5 times a week for 1-1 1/2 hours a day when I took this test and I thought that would quicken my metabolism. I was just told by my doctor (appt on Tuesday) that I should go on Jenny Craig!

Frustrated Dieter!
What is a 44 year old, full time worker, part time student, mother of 2 teen agers, married (another child), dog (he's the easest!) and a house, going to do to loose weight. I eat oatmeal for breakfast, a light soup for lunch, light dinner every day, yet I can not loose a pound. I tend to slowly gain weight. I have had to reduce my exercising down to 2 times a week, but I also reduced my intake. My doctor told me I have to stay under 1000 calories a day, which I tend to do, but still no weight loss. Help!!!

my doc says I need to eat only 1000 calories, does anyone know how to translate that into points?
