My name is Joy. I have two sons. One is an adult, the other is in elementary school. They are the "joy" of my life. I love my cats, too. I collect dishes and other objects that have pictures of strawberries on them. Ever since I was little, I've thought strawberries are beautiful. Weird, I know! :)
I was skinny my whole life until I turned 30. Now I realize, in my old age, that I can't digest gluten, dairy or sugar any longer. Or I should say: it takes a long time to digest, causing skin breakouts and inflammation of my joints and muscles. Ugh.
As long as I keep to a meal plan that is low in sugar, non-dairy, and gluten-free, I can maintain a reasonable weight for my height (5'4") that doesn't aggravate my back pain. Even 10 extra lbs is painful.
Exercise is pretty mild. Some crunches,squats, light arm weights, walking, and maybe 10 minutes of jogging, when I'm motivated.
I set my goal for 10 lbs weight-loss.
