I'm a Mother of three ages 25, 23,and 20. All out of the house.(yea!!) And married 30 years this Nov. 19. I would like to lose 20 - 30 #'s by then. I turn 50 this Feb. 1'st. And I would like to have lost a total of 50 #'s by then. This is for me! I want this.
Six months ago I moved to another town and was home bound for 3 months that's a fast way of gaining 20 #'s. Did not know anybody, it was bad. Finally got a job 2 months ago and just this week joined the local health club, hope it works.

Calories Burned
I just found a real cool web site ability.org
By simply entering your body weight and the time you spend during one of these activities you can calculate the total calories burned. They even tell you how many calories burned while having some fun with your husband or wife. (If you know what i mean) Wink

extra gum
The time between 3:00 and 5:00 are the hardest.
So I took a tip from The biggest Loser and try and chew some extra gum. It helps, but what really helps is me getting out of the kitchen and posting things and trying to learn about this awsome site.

1st Day
Thanks, I checked out the kitchen tab and it's great. I really love how you can keep track of the food you eat everyday. It always looks like alot more on paper (or computer). so it makes me want to eat less. Smile
