I am a 32 year old happily married father of 4. I joined Fat Secret as a way to have an awareness of what I was eating. I have never really been a hard core dieter, and thought I had my diet in check, but quickly realized after tracking my food intake using the Calorie Counter Android App that I was eating more poorly than I thought. This is where things changed for me.

My weight loss journey seriously began in December of 2010 where I tipped the scales around 250 lbs. I was in horrible shape and I needed to make a change. That is when I stumbled across the at home DVD workout series titled "INSANITY". The infomercial blew me away and I had to have it. My wife and I started the program and had great results. Lost 20lbs and my wife lost close to 50 lbs using the program and eating better. We weren't satisfied with where we were and this is when we found Shakeology (a meal replacement protein shake) and started drinking shakes daily. I lost another few lbs on Shakeology as well as my wife. Then an opportunity was presented to us by our Team Beachbody Coach to become Coaches as well and be able to get Beachbody's great products at a discounted price and also to be able to help others achieve their weight loss and fitness goals. I haven't looked back since becoming a Beachbody Coach. If feels amazing to be a positive influence to people who are trying to lose weight, get fit, and be healthy.

dollaqie there is a product that I came across a couple years ago called Shakeology that is a meal replacement shake that is derived from all whole food ingredients and contains the equivalent to your daily reccomentded intake of fruits and vegetables, replaces the need for a multi vitamin, boosts, energy levels, and has pre and probiotics in it. It has helped me and many others with weight loss and overall health. I can send you more details if you like.

Exercise tips
In my opinion the best type of exercise to increase weight loss is Interval Training and more specifically H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training). There are a few at home exercise programs that I know that use these methods and they are phenomenal. You may have heard of them Insanity and Turbo Fire. I have personally done them both and utilize similar methods of training they use short periods of Intense exercises with short periods of rest in between and really get your heart rate going up and down which helps boost calorie burns.
