Ugh, I hate the cold. Not only does it make my fibro act up and make me hurt worse, thus making me not want to move, but it's so cold in the kitchen that I don't want to go in there and spend the time to cook. It's probably a good thing I started this journey before I realized how cold it is, because used to, I would grab some ready made meal that I could just toss in the microwave for 90 seconds and get the heck out of the cold. Now, every meal is a decision... is that food worth going into the cold and standing there to cook it? If the answer is no, then I'm probably not as hungry as I thought I was.
This is causing a bit of fluctuation in my caloric intake.. one day around 1200, the next, under 1000, then 12-1400, then under 1000. Probably not the best way to do this, but better than 2500, 0, 2500, 0, etc.
On a positive note.. I am proud of myself, I still have not had any soda and it has been two weeks. I occasionally want one, but I'm not craving them like I have in the past when I tried to stop or cut down on drinking soda. I've also kept my carbs below 100 every day since the 10th, and the daily percentage at or below 25%.
I wish the graph would let me change to track net carbs instead of total carbs, but as long as I keep total below 25%, then obviously the net will be below that.
Got a bit of a headache tonight, seriously hoping it's not edging toward a migraine like I fear. Taking some imitrex and going to bed to see if the rest will make it go away.

Really didn't feel well today, so I my eating wasn't nearly what it should have been. I broke down and had a can of chicken noodle soup, which I know has carbs, but relatively speaking, it's not too bad. My percentage is right on the border of where I want it to be, but the total grams for the day are fine, except when you figure in the fact that my total food intake for the day was less than half of what it should have been.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

I was so happy today when I finally found some low carb tortilla shells, which means I can make so many of my favorite foods again without jacking my carb count through the roof.
I do wish that we could adjust the pie graph that shows the percentages of the three macronutrients per day to show net carbs instead of total carbs but hey, what we have is better than nothing, lol.
Still getting over this sinus stuff and today's been one of my not so good days with my fibro so I hurt to bad to do my workout stuff. I did about 10 minutes before I was ready to cry, so figured it was time to give it up for the day.
I also found some Atkins snacks that I'm going to try. I tried the cookies and cream bar today and was pleasantly surprised, as most "diet" foods usually taste icky, with that artificial sweetener taste, but these were actually pretty good. I only ended up eating half the bar because I had had enough sweet and put the other half up to eat later and it disappeared. Not sure if my son got ahold of it.. lol.

Ok, so I was going to wait for Feb 7 to weigh in, but I was at the dr office tonight so I had to peek. Even right after dinner and on my cycle, I've lost almost 6 lbs. Yay!! I know my graph shows 5 lbs, but when I weighed in originally, I didn't know you could put point whatever lbs. I was 284.8 lbs. Tonight I was 279.0 lbs. Still not to my first goal, but I still have 3 weeks before then and my first goal is only 10 lbs loss. I'm on my way and it feels so good.
