180.6 this morning - yea!! Slow & Steady :-)
A lot of eating out but staying to plan....those pesky hidden carbs will slow you down. Really tired this week trying to fight off a sinus infection. Looking for a low carb protein shake to have in the morning. Need to add some variety to the start of the day.

Only got 3 hours of sleep but feel energized!! 4 Loads of laundry done - baked batch of cream cheese muffins & breakfast mini muffins. Low carb cooking today!! Also going to make low carb veggie soup. Today is going to be a GREAT day!!

Today I hit my 40 pounds lost since starting my weight loss journey. Yes I hit this last year but didn't believe in myself enough to take control. This year is different it is a lifestyle change for me. Yes I may have an evening where I eat a few more carbs then normal - but it does not control me anymore!! That is a major change for me. In the past I would run like a maniac to all my favorite eating spots, go by the grocery store and stock up like it was dooms day. But not this year!! Have been on track every day except two where I ate a few more carbs for one meal only...YEA ME!!
50 and fabulous!! My year to finally appreciate myself and love me for me!!

Last night VIP event at the rodeo - BBQ dinner. Had a few more carbs then normal but didn't go crazy. And more important I didn't give myself license to eat like a maniac - where in the past I would get go crazy on carbs, sweets & ice cream for days or weeks. Back on plan this morning with no cravings. It is all a mind game and I am in control for once in my life. Food does not control me any more - I control it!! Big cruise coming up in two weeks from today...not worried about this new way of life. This is my year to be successful in losing this weight!

Really tired today - scale is moving very slow to 182.2 today. That is ok - very busy week so ate out a lot. Actually pretty good considering all the hidden carbs when dining out. Official weigh in day Monday hope to be down another pound.
