1/23/11 Starting my journey to find myself and to start loving myself. It will not be an easy road - but one that I am willing to travel. I have been battling this weight all my life and now I am determined to not let this weight hold me back any more. My fat has been a shield to hold me back from enjoying myself. But no more!! I'm lowering that coat of armor slowly but surely. If I lose it fast that is ok...if it takes me longer that is ok... I will stay focused and enjoy life...food WILL NOT CONTROL ME ANY MORE!! If I want something special and if I feel comfortable eating it without GUILT then that is ok.

Anyone else having trouble getting back on track after Easter?
I feel your pain!! After a long Easter break from Atkins I just haven't been able to get back on plan. Today was the day...yea right I blew it at breakfast!! Yesterday I cleaned out all the candy - but forgot the bread. So I had to have another turkey sandwich...then well lets just say it was NOT a good day!! But we just need to keep our goals in mind - sometimes that is easier said then done. COME ON WE CAN DO THIS!! Tuesday is the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PCOS and weight
I, too, have PCOS and Atkins Low Carb is the only plan that works for me. I tried Weight Watchers and lost weight - but found that all the carbs made me feel bad, no energy, forgetful and other side effects. After going on the low carb life style I have more energy and my concentration is much better!! My sugar and other blood work also improved. Good luck in your weight loss journey.
