Turned the big 4-0 2 summers ago. In my mid-40's and am fed up with the procrastination. No more just thinking I have time to get back into shape. That time is now.
With 10-12 hour work days, it's easy to take the easy way out and come out with excuses to miss workouts and have another cheat day. Time to "walk the walk."
It's great to have a very supportive family. It makes life much easier to make the healthy living changes. With two young kids and family history of asthma, high blood pressure and diabetes, I need to get my health and weight back in check so I can be there for my family.
