following: The South Beach Diet
performance: losing 0.8 lb a week
My name is Tracie, I am a seems like a lifetime member of the SB diet. One of my girlfriends introduced me to it may-be three or so years ago and I have loved it every since (not always been faithful). It just seems to work for me, little carbs and lots of meat, fruit and veggies, that's what I like to eat anyhow. Well, the problem for me seems to be that I fall of the wagon on the weekends and slip into well I screwed up all weekend might as well start back up next week. So I have been skimming the surface of the south beach diet for about 4-5 months now, not really trying as hard as I should. I can't blame any one thing I am just looking for instant gradification, I want my body to reflect that I have been good all day. But, by the end of the week I just stay the same (or gain 1-2 lbs.). I think for me I need to stablize my eating and stop skimming the surface and just dive in face first. I know the problem for me has to be diet, diet, diet because I think that I am fairly an active person.
What I am hoping to get from this site is may-be a bit of incouragement, some accountablility, and some great meal ideas. We'll see how it goes.
