I am almost 29, I have 2 kids, I am a nurse. I NEED more activity and more CONTROL over my food choiced to be successful.......Lord nows, I need will need all the help I can get to get there!
Well now I am almost 30. Still 2 kids, still a nurse. Now in grad school on top of everything else!
I have found more activity, and in this I have found some weight loss and life changing events.
I started with a running group July 2011, when I figured out that I peaked at 185. I truly believed in my brain that I could eat whatever I wanted and not get bigger than 175. So I started running...okay a lot of walking with a little running, and an ultimate goal of a half marathon.
I did my first half marathon in October 2011, and my second in December 2011. I also started working out with a personal trainer in December, as I HATE weights and don't know what to do with myself at the gym other than run. In Feb. I hit the 30 lb lost mark!!!!
I am training for half numbers 3 and 4 this Spring and am trying to translate all of this into lifelong habit changers.
