Nov-2015 update:
I did it and I was happy about it. In the year 2011 I went from my record weight of 116 Kg (256 lb.) to 87 Kg in a little over 5 months. Then I was able to maintain my good eating habits and maintained around 90 for more that 1 year.

Then, on June 2012 I moved back to Madrid for work and the stressing life there helped me (I know I'm in the end responsible) derail and start gaining weight back... fast.
end 2012: 100
end 2013: 110
end 2014: 120
nov 2015: 127... New personal record again.

So here I am again. Still in Madrid and still quite stressed, but my health need me to get over it and do it again. Just eat right. That's all I need...

I'm 42 and this one has to be the good one... Slowly, but steadily.

Original diet 2011:
In the moment of writing this I'm 37 years old and weight 116 Kg (256 lb). I've spent half my life fighting the overweight. Most of the times with limited success.

But now I'm in my late thirties and I don't exercise anymore. Simply walking or doing housekeeping tasks get me all sweaty and tired. I have no fitting clothes and I can't even play Kinect for more that a few minutes...

This is enough! I've made my ONLY 2011 resolution to loose A LOT of weight. I have no other job to do this year. THIS IS MY FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT.

Wish me luck! (although I don't need it. This is not a matter of luck)...

Fit but Fat
I think many of us here share the same path to get here. The Android app is a real catch (although it's a pity that the creators removed some time ago the possibility to sync your data and haven't still put it back)

Welcome and best of lucks in your dieting efforts!

Amen to that!

Help receipt entering.
I want to enter some of the receipts I use in my diet.

The thing is that I would like to be able to add all the ingredients from someday's meal so I can get started faster, just as you can do when entering your daily meals...

Also it doesn't help that I can't find the spanish translations of many ingredients as easily as in the android application.

Is it possible to add codebars or alternative serving sizes for self-created foods?
I'm trying to create some new foods when I can't find a proper equivalent in the database (mainly when nutritional values doesn't agree with what the food label gives).

But I can't find a way to add some of the data I can find in the standard db products, like extra serving sizes, barcode readings (that I get with the android app)...

If that were possible It will make adding new menus much easier just reading the barcode labels of the ingredients I'm gonna use...

Is it even possible?

Thanks in advance.
