I used to be over 200 pounds. A few months after college, I remember getting out of the shower, looking down at my gigantic GUT, and thinking, "This is not healthy". Around this time, I ran my first 5K race. I was hooked - within a year I'd finished my first marathon and lost 40 pounds.
I made the mistake of not setting continual goals, and in the year and half since that marathon, my weight has crept back up. I'm using this site to keep track of my progress, and I'm excited about getting in shape and beating all of my records!
