Clogging weekend, enough said. Plenty of activity and exercise. I've been doing a great job sticking to Phase 1 south beach, except for maybe tonight, which included buffalo wings and a couple malibu drinks. But really, not too bad. My husband has been enjoying cookies, crackers and M&M's in our hotel room, but I can't really make him eat how I am. I've got high protein snacks and veggies and so far, I don't feel like I'm denying myself. Here's looking forward to a great competition tomorrow. Cheers to a great weekend, I'm excited to see what the scale does when we return home!

Oh South Beach diet, my old friend. I'll miss fruit and bread for the next couple weeks, but I've had some MONSTER cravings lately for carbs, this did the trick last time. Usually I'm a crazy person on day 2, thinking about nothing but bread and candy. Luckily, I have a trip out of town keeping my mind and body busy.

$25 buys me a shot at the pot if I lose %4 of my body weight in the next 4 weeks. That's 7.3 pounds to lose over the next 28 days. Totally doable, especially when I'm motivated! This will be a good way to start of the training season for the Rugged Maniac and several of the other races I have scheduled for this summer. Now to work on diet....
