Agonizingly slow, but at least the needle is moving in the right direction!
Considering the increased muscle mass, I am o.k. with the weigh in. I still need to get busy with the arm exercises, though. And yoga. I may go to my class next week and see if things have calmed down yet (It's been my experience that January is a terrible month at the Y, because of all the folks crowding in to work on their New Year's resolutions. Usually classes get back to normal sizes by Feb. or early March)
Also, I need to increase my vegetable intake. Protein and fats may be good things, but if I could slightly lessen my protein calories while increase my vegetable intake, well, I just think that might be a good thing.

Well, the scale is going g down a little. I know more is going on,because my clothes are looser. It is so hard to be patient, though. I would like to be slim and fit yesterday!
40 minutes on the bike daily. I need to go back to yoga and increase hand weights to tone up my arms.
Joe says just keep going and that's what I am going to do!

Yesterday and today both my husband and I tried the nutribullet coffee idea.
It's basically 2C of coffee with 1 TBL Irish butter and 1 TBL Coconut oil added to it. It's put in a blender and mixed til it's foamy. You drink that and then eat nothing until 2pm. Between 2 and 8 pm we eat healthy, but nothing after 8 pm.
Amazingly, we're not feeling hungry all day!
Anyway, we are going to do this for a few days and see how it goes.
I got my 35 minutes on my bike in. Next week I will raise the time to 40 minutes, I think. And continue using the hand weights as well.

I ate poorly yesterday, and never got my bike ride in. Perhaps today I will double my time on the bike and make up for it a little bit.
My friend Ellen told me about "Bulletproof" coffee yesterday. I had never heard of it before. I have been doing some research on it, and since I already take cream in my coffee, I don't see how it could hurt and it just might help a little.
Today I want to go outside and do some snow shoveling. That should burn a few calories as well. Afterwards, there's football, of course, and that is when the real "danger zone" begins. I am quite capable of mindless snacking in front of the television! I am going to cut up some carrots, celery and bell peppers and have them ready for game time.
Here's to a better weight loss day today!

Yesterday was "cheat day" and I enjoyed every minute of it!!! LOL
Today I have been exceptionally good! Mostly Vegetables all day long. Lots of water, too. Plus some green tea.
Tonight, in addition to 35 minutes on the bike, I added hand weights while I was peddling so I could work on my "gramma arms".
I just need to remember that I didn't gain this weight overnight and it's going to take a good while to lose it. Sometimes, I think that's the hardest part.
